I Corinthians 12
4 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. 5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6 There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.
12 Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.
Believers are clearly all one body, with one common goal of sharing the Gospel to the world (Matthew 28, Mark 16, Acts 1:8). Each one of us are ministers, although our gifts are different from person to person. Most of us develop new gifts over the course of life. These gifts sometimes lead us to new avenues of ministry. Some are called be ministers of the Word through speaking. Others are called to play an instrument or sing. Others are called to work on the front lines of the secular world, while being a light through their work ethic, fairness, and character (Mat. 5:14, Col. 3:23). We are all called to do something to point people back to Him.
As some of my closest friends have moved on to other vocations and new avenues of sharing the love of Christ, my calling and passion to lead the body into a worship experience has remained unchanged. The same Julian Drive that served as a springboard for my friends into new walks of life is the same one that has simply launched me deeper into the work already begun.
As we enter 2014 I will carry on with this mission to reach the 4 corners of the world through music, testimony, and the spoken Word. So please stay tuned for further updates on this website, facebook, and twitter. I look forward to starting a new chapter of ministry with faithful fans, pastors, and youth pastors. Be blessed, and more to come soon!
